My name is Elena and I’m the designer and instructor behind Towerlocked Designs!

With over six years of experience in fiber arts and a background in education, I’m excited about sharing the joys of fiber crafts with others! Having experience working for a yarn company and with multiple yarn shops, I’ve taught an array of crochet classes from beginning to advanced levels. I’ve also written patterns that are being used for classes, advertisements, and promoting unique fiber-related events. Although I specialize in crochet and Tunisian crochet, I also have experience in knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, sewing and jewelry making.

When I’m not playing with yarn, you can find me reading, watching scary movies with my partner-in-crime, or playing tug-of-war with my dog Winnie!
