Sweater-a-long Crochet Summit Sweater

This 4 session get-together is structured to help you along and answer any questions as they come up, but it is not a class in the sense that everyone is doing the exact same thing at the same time with lectures/presentations. It's a fun social atmosphere, with the first meeting discussing the fit of the sweater. You will need to crochet a swatch before the first meeting. If you are unable to figure out the swatch on your own, you might not be quite ready for this get-together! All the details of the swatch are here.

Saturday, September 26th 2026 2pm to 4pm MANDATORY
Saturday, October 3rd 2026 2pm to 4pm
Saturday, October 17th 2026 2pm to 4pm
Saturday, November 7th 2026 2pm to 4pm

The first meeting is MANDATORY, as we will discuss fit and gauge, after that all meetings are up to you and there are no make-up sessions available. Please remember, this is more social/accountability that it is instructional!

The Summit Sweater combines linen stitch and mosaic crochet to create a piece with a striking yoke and a stretchy/comfortable fit.

The Summit Sweater can be easily customized to a cropped length or short sleeves instead of long.

The Summit Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top, down. The neck ribbing is worked first and short rows are worked to raise the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The mosaic yoke is created with a chart, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top, down.

Techniques used in this pattern: chaining, single crochet, spike single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, increasing, decreasing and back loop only.
